Triplex Board (GT) is a three-layered paperboard that offers both strength and versatility . One side of this paper product is glossy, and the other is uncoated . It's further classified as Greyback or Whiteback Triplex, based on the color of the uncoated side .

 

The production of Triplex Board involves using recycled fibers, which are cleaned and de-inked. The top layer is crafted from bleached kraft pulp or chemical pulp, which is coated for a smooth, glossy finish . The middle layer, made from mechanical pulp, lends bulk and stiffness to the paperboard , while the bottom layer is composed of unbleached kraft pulp or recycled fibers, left uncoated
